About Us
Developmental Baseball, Built Right
GBG Colorado is the Colorado chapter of the Garciaparra Baseball Group, a national youth and high school developmental program focused on getting players ready for the next level.

Our Story
GBG Colorado is an affiliate of Garciaparra Baseball Group (GBG), a premier high school-level and youth baseball club. Our program is geared toward kids' development in the game of baseball and helping them achieve their goals of playing college baseball and beyond.
Established in 2024, we prioritize player development, college recruitment, and fostering a supportive family atmosphere within our community.
Leadership
GBG Colorado is owned and operated by Jordan Johnson. Jordan is currently the head coach at Heritage High School in Littleton and also an associate scout for the San Diego Padres.
What We Stand For
Player Development
Every practice is built around getting better (mechanics, strength, and in-game baseball IQ) under coaches who've played and coached at the college and professional level.
College Exposure
Our players have gone on to programs like Boston College, the Air Force Academy, and the University of San Francisco. We help families navigate recruiting from first tryout to signing day.
Team Culture
Baseball is a family sport. Every coach and staff member knows our players individually, not just as names on a roster. It's a tight-knit community where players push each other, parents stay informed, and every kid, from 9U through high school, knows they belong.
A Parent's Perspective
Our son joined the GBG family his Freshman year. Being a part of this program made him a better player and teammate. He learned to play for his teammates and root for their success. He was given a blueprint for development on and off the field, a guided weight training program, and a community that supported his growth as a player. More importantly, he grew as a person. He gained confidence, learned how to receive and act on the instruction he was given, take constructive feedback, and exercise personal accountability. Being a part of GBG afforded him the opportunity to play in high profile tournaments across the country and ultimately played a critical role in helping him secure a scholarship to play NCAA baseball. Being a part of this tight community has been a blessing for our family.

Our son played fall ball on GBG before his senior year. As parents, we noticed that high school program coaches tend to be managers not instructors. GBG coaches are true instructors in practices and on gameday. Your player will get disciplined instruction and be held accountable in practices and on gameday. No favorites, hard work is rewarded, mistakes are corrected immediately, and everyone is held accountable. Our son loved the program and the coaches. It was the most fun he had since little league. As parents, we loved seeing actual coaching and corrections with accountability. We wished we would have found GBG and JJ years earlier. Thank you JJ for rekindling our son's love for baseball.
